Just Can't Keep Them Apart!

Gianna beams when Hazel shows up for the night. Both nineteen, they've been apart for months. Then Katie, Gianna's step-mom, swings in to say hi and the air thickens fast—Katie's stare at Hazel is pure hunger, and Hazel answers right back. Gianna clocks it, stomach twisting. She grabs Hazel's bag and yanks her upstairs before anything else can start. Movie night. Gianna and Hazel are sunk into the couch when Katie strolls in. The second Katie angles toward the middle seat—toward Hazel—Gianna panics. She dives, butt-plants dead center so fast Katie almost lands on her. Both women stop, stunned. Gianna flashes a tight, triumphant grin. Katie sighs, drops to the far end. Hazel looks deflated. Gianna leans back like she just won a round. Later, everyone heads to bed. Katie steps in for her usual kiss goodnight on Gianna's cheek. Hazel pipes up, “Can I get one too?” and Katie turns, smile sly. Gianna blurts, “Mom, seriously—bedtime,” and herds Katie out. Gianna lies there wide awake. Hazel’s breathing evens out, out cold. “Thank fuck,” Gianna breathes. She slips from the room, hits the bathroom, fixes her hair, then creeps back—only to freeze in the doorway. Hazel’s legs are hooked over Katie’s shoulders while Katie drives into her, both of them gasping and slick with sweat. Gianna’s jaw drops. “What the actual hell!” she hisses, storming forward. Katie and Hazel barely miss a beat. Words fly—hurt, accusations—until Gianna blurts the truth she didn’t mean to spill: she’s been stopping them because she wants Katie for herself. The room goes quiet for a half-second. Then Katie and Hazel trade a look, sly smiles creeping back. They reach for Gianna together, pulling her onto the bed, and the three of them tangle fast and greedy, mouths, hands, hips locking until nobody’s left out.
