Alison Rey walks in and catches Nina Elle dusting. She starts venting about Marie being selfish and never around. Nina listens, the mom side in her kicking in. Soon enough they're comparing notes on how they both let their own daughters down. It turns into a tug-of-war between common sense and the itch neither of them wants to scratch. Alison goes for the quick kiss first. Nina freezes, then melts, heat rising fast. They keep pulling back every time a floorboard creaks, afraid Marie or Lily might stroll in, but hands keep wandering. Pretty soon Nina has Alison pinned against the freshly polished counter, breathing dirty promises while Alison’s shorts hit the floor. She promised to cheer Alison up—she just didn’t mention her tongue’s way of doing the job.
