Swapping Sexualities

The doorbell rings and Gail and Steve hustle over with a look between them that says they both know what’s coming. Gail swings the door open and there’s Eric, suitcase in hand—young guy from out of country here to crash with the Canadian couple. Everybody smiles, luggage hits the floor, and Steve’s hand lands a little too low on Eric’s back. You can tell the kid’s clocking it. Later in the kitchen, Gail’s cooking butt-naked except for a apron that barely covers anything while Steve lounges around in just briefs; they talk Eric into peeling off his shirt and suddenly all three are shoulder to shoulder like it’s the most natural thing in the world. Days slide by. Eric’s standing outside the bathroom in his shorts when Gail and Steve step out dripping and fully naked. Steve throws an arm around Eric’s waist, tells him showering together is how they roll and asks if he wants a turn sometime, testing the water. Eric says maybe, grinning at how loose everything feels compared to back home. Next time the three are packed on the couch, hands roaming like they’ve been doing this forever. Gail and Steve drop the bomb—they’re bi, want Eric in the mix—and with soft coaxing the kid folds. He came here to study Canada; he’s learning way more than that.
