Alexia and Kenzie have the place to themselves, so Alexia's sneaking in her real birthday surprise. The public gift already got unwrapped, now comes the private one she only gives when they're alone. She hands Kenzie the locket she spotted her eyeing at the mall, beaming as she explains how she saved for it and got both their names engraved inside. Kenzie freezes, the smile slipping, but Alexia keeps talking until the older woman's guilty look finally registers. Turns out Kenzie's husband already bought the same locket. Alexia just shrugs, calls it part of the risk that comes with sneaking around, then reassures her that having each other still beats any jewelry. Kenzie's fingers slide through the blonde's hair, gentle and hungry at once, and they lean in, mouths meeting, clothes dropping. Blond and brunette, skin to inked skin, they trade kisses and hungry touches, letting their bodies spell out exactly what the locket was supposed to say. For Kenzie, it ends up being one hell of a birthday anyway.
