Fear Of Godson

Sherry and Ray took Ethan in after his folks died. Ray swears the kid's off—always watching, always lurking—but Sherry keeps brushing it off like it's nothing. Then the wedding photos get smashed. Ethan just shrugs, says the dog did it. Ray smells bullshit. Sherry picks the godson over her husband. Next thing, the dog ends up dead on Ethan's walk. Ray loses it, but Sherry's sick of the theories and they blow up. She wakes up to a note: Ray's gone. Ethan finds her crying and slides in close to "comfort" her, hands everywhere. Turns out the quiet kid had the whole thing mapped out from the jump.
