Sherry and Ray were hitting a rough patch after Ethan moved in. Ray couldn't shake the feeling that his godson was off—always lurking, always watching. Sherry brushed it off like it was nothing. Then they came home to find their wedding photos smashed on the floor. Ethan just shrugged and blamed the dog. Ray wasn't buying it, but Sherry took Ethan's side anyway. Days later the dog turned up dead on Ethan's walk. Ray blew up, swore Ethan did it on purpose. Sherry was done with his theories and their fight got ugly.
