Not Again

Rachel’s married to Tye—happy enough—yet the guy’s kept his stepmom Amy and his dad Josh at arm’s length since day one. Rachel’s never laid eyes on them, not even at the wedding. Then Amy rings out of the blue: they’re in town and looking for a place to crash. Rachel, playing nice, offers the guest room. When Tye hears, he blows a gasket and won’t say why, but he finally grumbles that she can keep the invitation. Later, Amy and Josh show up; Josh lifts Rachel clean off her feet in a bear hug, Amy buries her nose in Rachel’s hair to get a long whiff. Before Rachel can backpedal, Tye gets home and things turn downright uncomfortable—especially when Amy plants a slow, wet kiss right on Tye’s mouth like it’s no big deal. Looks like this visit’s already on rails and Rachel’s just along for the ride.
