Ruth slams the door hard enough to rattle the picture frames. She's red in the face, fuming. Her dead dad's lawyer just told her she gets nothing unless she pops out a kid in the next three years. Calvin tries to talk her down. "We don't need his money," he says. Ruth isn't having it. She paces, swearing under her breath, then stops cold. Looks him up and down with a grin that says she's already way ahead of herself. "Fuck it. If you knock me up, we win. Your genes count, I get the cash, and Dad can roll in his grave." Calvin raises an eyebrow. "You serious?" She grabs his belt. "Deadly."
