The scene kicks off with Harold and Martha showing Fred and Barbara out after dinner. Once the door shuts, the real talk starts. Martha leans in and asks how Harold feels about telling Cassie the truth now that she’s eighteen. He shrugs, says he’s got no idea if she’s ready or how she’ll take it. The silence gets heavy. Then Harold’s eyes go dark. “If she flips,” he says, “we give her some tough love.” Days later the whole crew is back, cake and candles ready. Harold and Martha breathe again. Heidi starts it. She peels Cassie’s clothes off slow while her folks watch and lick their lips.
